today’s two truisms

1. It’s difficult to get upset with a 17-year old who is screaming obscenities at you when tears are streaming down his face.

2. When a police officer arrives to take the statement of a 14-year old the (real) truth comes out more quickly than ever.

  1. True, and so true. Great insight into the day to day things you must see and deal with as a teacher. My husband is a middle school teacher so I can relate.
